Sustainable Business Practices

Betty's Tasty Buttons originated from grandmother Betty's creamy fudge recipe. The business has grown faster than we could have anticipated over the past year. We feel this has happened because of the attention we pay to all aspects of the business. Delicious sweets are always enjoyed, but Betty's Tasty Buttons are additionally scrumptious because of the care we take in sourcing ingredients, growing our network with other local businesses and listening to our customers. All of this culminates in products that are nostalgic of a time that was simple, comforting and at the same time, exciting.

Customers as Our Community

Betty's Tasty Buttons values our neighbors. We are always excited when we find another local business that shares our goals and values. Local ingredients are important to us since they employ our neighbors, require less transport and strenghten the local economy. The same can be said about Betty's Tasty Buttons' packaging. Our new boxes are made in New York and the jars are made in New Jersey. The cellophane bags that our Sweet Pete's Grahams are in are compostable.

Catch & Release Program

Betty's Tasty Buttons runs on vintage buttons collected by cool hunters around the country. We welcome customers to particpate in the Catch & Release Program! Simply bring us usable buttons (twine must be able to through the eye) and receive fudge in return. The current rate is an ounce for an ounce.
