Fudge Sauce
Fudge is great, but fudge sauce can quite physically cover everything else that is a dessert. Using honey as a base for the fudge sauce we are able to avoid using corn syrup. The sweetness of the honey is strong, but crisp. There are now six styles of our sauce. Below is a description of the styles along with their uses:

  • Big Whoop Returns! - Dark chocolate becomes mysteriously dark when malted milk pieces enter into the mix.
  • Hot Lava - Cinnamon and smokey chipotle liven dark chocolate to a flavor that will make even the coldest days seem bearable. Try a tablespoon in hot milk (or soy milk) to make your own Hot Hot Lava!
  • Lavender Mint - Local lavender blossoms accentuate a dark chocolate fudge sauce that goes perfectly with lemon poundcake for a delicious afternoon tea.
  • Peanut Butterer - It's not a typo. Some chocolate confections may have peanut butter, but this is far nuttier. We use organic peanut butter that we just keep adding in to the chocolate until it's more sauce-like. Use this with our Phluff to make superb Phluffer Nutters!
  • Mi Amore - Tart cherries and amaretto liqueur make dark chocolate fudge sauce additionally decadent.
  • Snap-a-licious - Tasting somewhat like a gingersnap cookie, this sauce has Ras el-hanout, a Moroccan spice mixture.
  • Supreme - This was our first fudge sauce and perhaps the most decadent. Grand Marnier, orange zest and citrus essence combine in Supreme to make a delicious fondue with fresh fruit or a ganache for a vanilla cake.

There are so many ways to use Betty's Tasty Fudge Sauce that we will only list a few: sundaes, fondue, ganache cake topping or filling, in hot milk or coffee or the most common; with a spoon!

Other Creations

We love experimenting. Visiting us at the many farmer's markets we attend, you will see new things all of the time!

Hot Hot Lava: Spicy Cocoa

The cooler months are finally upon us and a stroll through the farmer's markets is perfect with a cup of Hot Hot Lava! We use our Hot Lava fudge sauce in steamy hot organic milk to keep moving. The chipotle and cinnamon balance the honey and chocolate so a cup will never seem too sweet or too hot. It's been described as a hot chocolate "that goes where no hot cocoa has gone before!"

Hot Lava Java: Spicy Mocha Latte

We could say we planned this drink, but really it was one of those happy mistakes. A strong coffee blend is added to the spicy Hot Hot Lava to make a drink that has enough caffiene to get you through the day. One customer said it "kicks coffee's [butt]!" and we agree!
